About The Position

Clerical Assistant - Carol Stream Center, SC1CSTRMSCNTRS (SP26) Student Worker Eligibility: Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester. Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above. If a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived. If a Student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the Student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Assist Carol Stream Center staff with reception and clerical duties. Answer phones. Assist faculty, staff, students and visitors to center. Schedule appointments using web based systems. Straighten classrooms Qualifications: Education THIS IS A STUDENT JOB. High school diploma or equivalent. Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester. Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above. If a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived. If a Student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the Student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds. Experience Previous customer service experience with good communication and technical skills required. Knowledge of College of DuPage programs and procedures preferred. Licenses and Certifications COD Training Working Conditions: Copier, computer, telephone, fax machine. , This student position requires the following test/tests: Background Check. Work Schedule - Federal Work Study Student Position 1 Tuesday and Thursday: 5:00pm to 10:00pm Saturday - Every other Saturday: 7:30am to 1:00pm Position 2 Monday and Wednesday: 5:00pm to 10:00pm Saturday - Every other Saturday: 7:30am to 1:00pm Pay Rate: Student Rate 1 - $15.00 per hour College of DuPage is an equal opportunity employer.
