Brooklyn/Queens Operations Support is looking for a qualified candidate to join their team as a Clerical Assistant. This role involves providing clerical and administrative support to Brooklyn and Queens Electric Operations.

Utilize proficient computer and typing skills.
Maintain excellent interpersonal and telephone skills due to frequent interaction with both internal and external customers.
Demonstrate outstanding proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
Prioritize daily tasks and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
Engage with customers regularly, both internal and external.
Review and file documents, compile various tracking system reports, and prepare daily work folders for field construction crews.
Assist field personnel with necessary permits and contact information.
Perform office duties related to electric construction.
Be willing to work overtime and occasionally on weekends or overnight shifts as needed for storm response.
Report in-person during ICS (Incident Command System) events and travel to company locations as necessary to support restoration efforts.
High School Diploma/GED.
Excellent organizational skills, including computer skills and competency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word).
Excellent interpersonal skills for frequent interaction with Manager, Planners, Supervisors, and Field Crews.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities.
