About The Position

As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will function as the main receptionist, inclusive of taking and relaying accurate messages, directing calls and visitors, and notifying District Managers and store personnel of pertinent information via telephone. You will also process outgoing mail to include regular and certified mailings, and open and distribute incoming mail to the appropriate office personnel. This professional receives information regarding store maintenance issues and notifies appropriate property managers to have the problems assessed and corrected in a timely manner. Requirements

  • Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Graduation from high school; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
  • A conditional offer of employment will require submission of criminal history reports.
  • You must pass a background investigation.

Responsibilities

  • Function as the main receptionist, inclusive of taking and relaying accurate messages, directing calls and visitors, and notifying District Managers and store personnel of pertinent information via telephone.
  • Process outgoing mail to include regular and certified mailings, and open and distribute incoming mail to the appropriate office personnel.
  • Receive information regarding store maintenance issues and notifies appropriate property managers to have the problems assessed and corrected in a timely manner.
