About The Position
The San Diego Unified School District is accepting applications for Clerical and Secretarial Staff Substitute Assignments. These assignments are on-call, as needed and are paid hourly, and do not qualify you for regular salaried positions with our district. If you are a current salary employee, please do not apply for you will not be considered. This pool is intended for eligible external candidates or current substitutes who feel they have met the requirements to have additional classifications added to their record. Please note that the hourly pay rate will be based on assignments accepted. Substitute hourly assignments are not eligible for benefits and must be flexible and able to adapt to a changing environment. Hourly rates start at $16.00 an hour and vary by classification.
