PORT MADISON ENTERPRISES RETAIL DIVISON Clearwater Market C-Store Lead Attendant [Bond] General Position Summary: Supervises all Clerks at assigned retail store. Store assignment may change per business needs. Responsible for ensuring that all Attendants are productive by assigning needed tasks and duties. Performs all tasks related to point of sales. Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities: Opens and closes retail store according to procedures and policies Provides spectacular customer service Dresses and restocks all shelves and refrigerators, coolers, etc. Completes cash register transactions, according to procedures Provides basic housekeeping, as needed Provides information on products and services Responsible for some decision making concerning products and services Assists in training clerks in all policies and procedures Prepares deli service according to health standards Prepares menu items ahead of time when feasible Keeps deli area clean and sanitary according to health standards Keeps management appraised of inventory and supply levels Locates stock and delivers items to respective retail unit as necessary Ability to pump propane (specific to the store location) Secondary Functions: Completes all assigned tasks in a timely manner Completes assigned Daily Accounting duties as assigned by Manager. To include Attendant Shift Reconciliations, recording vendor deliveries, verifying cash turn-ins and preparing daily bank deposits Other duties as assigned by Manager or Asst. Manager. QualificationsSpecific Job Skills: Experienced in providing great customer service Ability to listen and problem solve customer and/or employee complaints Excellent math skills Good verbal communication skills Ability to work with a number of people at one time Ability complete tasks in a timely manner Ability to work with little or no supervision Ability to work as part of a team and/or independently Ability to work in a faced paced environment Education and/or Experience/Certificates: High School diploma or GED required. Two to three (2-3) year cash handling or retail sales experience or a combination of cash handling and supervisory experience. Must be 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license. Job Conditions: Working conditions include working in retail store setting during busy and slow times of the day and night in a non-smoking environment. Conditions will also include frequent interruptions or working alone. Requires being available to work evenings and weekends. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods of time. Manual dexterity for use of cash registers and computers. Ability to lift 40 lbs.
