Clearsight Investment Banking Senior Analyst
About The Position
At Regions, a Clearsight Investment Banking Analyst is an analytical and support role within our deal teams and interacts directly with clients alongside the firm’s experienced professionals. Analysts are often responsible for a variety of simultaneous projects, including developing valuation models and analyses, compiling industry research, writing and preparing presentation materials and interacting with clients on engaged transactions. Clearsight Advisors is an investment banking firm dedicated to providing M&A and capital raising solutions exclusively to growth-oriented Business Services and Technology companies. Clearsight combines deep market insights across software, services and data, to help entrepreneurs, private equity owners and board of directors successfully advance their vision. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts
- Ability to work in a team environment when applicable
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation
Nice To Haves
- Masters of Business Administration (MBA)
- Past relevant experience (i.e., summer internships)
Responsibilities
- Supports senior bankers in all aspects of the deal process including due diligence, client onboarding and reporting
- Assists in cultivation of client relationships by conducting market research, staying abreast of client and industry trends
- Performs complex analysis
- Develops and maintains detailed financial models
- Interacts with current and prospective clients
- Supports the preparation of written material, including marketing pitches, proposals, client materials and associated supporting analyses
- Consolidates and reports forecasts, annual budgets, and strategic plans
- Assists with the provision of timely, accurate, and reliable financial management information
