About The Position

This candidate will assist the Clearing House Compliance & Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Team on day-to-day activities in support of the CME Clearing Compliance & ERM program. This candidate will have responsibilities, under direct supervision, related to execution of the Clearing House compliance program, regulatory exam activities, enterprise risk management responsibilities, and other initiatives as assigned. Principal Accountabilities: Contribute to regulatory compliance activities including performing compliance assessments and issue management Contribute to the execution of CME Clearing’s control framework, including control identification and development Contribute to the development and implementation of a compliance program consistent with SEC Clearing Agency standards for the new securities clearing house Assist with other various functions of the compliance program as needed Provide timely and high-quality work products for assigned projects Interface and communicate with internal teams and external groups when needed

Requirements

  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, including project management
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Well-developed written, grammatical, and verbal skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Google Workspace
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors/Masters/Advanced Degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, Public Policy, Law, or other related course
