About The Position

As a Cleared Security Officer - Driver in Clearfield, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify suspicious activity, access concerns, and/or potential policy violations.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization in accordance with site protocols, and report discrepancies, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues promptly.
Support site operations by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, preparing required reports, and assisting with restricted area access control and emergency procedures as directed.
