You will respond to alarms and unusual activity, document and communicate observations, and support cleared operations with professionalism. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess an Level III Armed Security License.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and/or visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Carry and maintain assigned authorized weapon and related equipment per Allied Universal and site-specific post orders, completing required checks, documentation, and escalation steps as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site leadership and/or local law enforcement when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, monitoring for unusual activity that may help to deter unauthorized access and/or policy violations.
  • Complete detailed written reports and logs, including incident reports, patrol observations, and access control activity, using required systems and/or forms.
