About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Clearance Patrol in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas.
  • Hold an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or access.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within an aerospace or defense environment, reporting any irregularities or suspicious activity.
  • Support access control measures by verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management.
  • Assist with emergency response protocols, including evacuations and incident reporting, according to site-specific guidelines.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities, observations, and incidents during each shift.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related concerns and promote a secure environment.
