About The Position

Cleared Sr. CNO Developer Join Bestgate Engineering, where innovation and mission-critical solutions intersect to drive national security forward. We are seeking a Senior CNO Developer to join the Network Device team supporting a long-standing and essential mission. In this role, you will contribute to the development of both new and existing capabilities, focusing on network devices. This position offers a dynamic environment for engineers who thrive on tackling complex challenges and delivering impactful solutions. What You Will Be Doing: Candidate will have strong C programming skills to design and implement new features and maintain existing systems. Performing embedded engineering and reverse engineering on a variety of architectures to understand and modify software components. Collaborating with a high-performing team to troubleshoot and resolve issues in real-time environments. Conducting research and development to enhance current capabilities and explore innovative solutions. Applying in-depth knowledge of network protocols to develop efficient, scalable, and secure solutions.

Requirements

  • 8 + years of experience as a Software Engineer using development technologies such as C/C++, and Python.
  • 3+ years of experience with CNO development technologies and tools such as C/C++, Python, Ghidra, or Wireshark.
  • Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field.
  • 4 years of software engineering experience with a master’s degree in computer science or a related STEM field.
  • Demonstrated experience in reverse engineering across diverse architectures.
  • Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph

  • In-depth understanding of network protocols and their implementation.
  • Experience working in a Real-Time Operating System environment.
