As an Armed Patrol Officer at a high-profile aero and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service requests with calm, clear communication. You will document observations, coordinate with site contacts and/or emergency responders, and deliver a customer-focused presence. Requirements

  • Be at least 21+ Years of Age.
  • Possess Level III Armed Security License (Texas Only).
  • Maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter fencing as permitted by post orders; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Control access at gates and/or entry points by checking identification, authorizations, and vehicle credentials while maintaining courteous, professional interaction.
  • Complete detailed security-related reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, and communicate updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
