Requirements

An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A armed guard card/license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate contacts in line with post orders.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, production areas, restricted locations, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and support the screening of employees, visitors, and/or deliveries entering or exiting sensitive areas.
Support incident reporting, shift communication, and coordination with supervisors, onsite personnel, and/or public emergency responders during security-related events or operational disruptions.
