About The Position
Soleo Health is seeking a Clearance Specialist/Intake Coordinator to support our Home Infusion Specialty Pharmacy Remotely (USA). This position will be responsible for verifying insurance benefits for specialty medications and services along with submitting and tracking authorization requests. The role involves communicating updates on pending referrals and ensuring timely referral processing. Responsibilities include performing benefit verification of all patient insurance plans, documenting coverage of medications, administration supplies, and related infusion services, and calculating estimated patient financial responsibility based on benefit verification and payer contracts. The position also requires initiating, following up, and securing prior authorization, communicating with patients and referral sources, and generating new patient start of care paperwork.
