About The Position

The Sales Associate assists the Clearance Store Management team in the overall operations of the store to maximize production, sales, salvage, and customer service.

Requirements

Minimum of 1- 2 years of experience as a cashier or excellent cash management experience preferred.
Proven track record of excellent attendance, problem solving skills and a positive attitude.
Demonstrates excellent customer service.
Exhibits mechanical and digital skill compacity to use a register and computer software related to the job.
Communicates effectively to inform, motivate, and guide all team members.
Excellent training skills and Can-Do-Attitude.
Fluent in English, bilingual a plus.
Exhibits a high level of integrity and business ethics.
Requires a high level of adaptability and flexibility.

Responsibilities

Ensures that quality customer service is presented and provided in a timely and courteous manner to all customers and other employees.
Maximizes sales performance through proper presentation of merchandise.
Handles all customer service needs.
Communicates all needs and issues to management.
Handled keeping the front registers stocked with supplies, store bags, register receipt paper etc.
Adheres to proper cash handling policies and procedures.
Helps on salesfloor as needed (if at least one register is staffed during all open hours.
Maintains responsibility for store deposits, cash reports, accountable for shortages.
Maintains a safe work environment and ensures salesfloor is free of obstacles and hazards.
Completes other tasks and assists with projects as assigned by management.
Follows Provided Price List Provided by Clearance Manager.
Provides excellent and equitable access and service to all customers.
Performs calculations in case of system Error Emergency.
Handle answering the phone and routing calls to management as needed.
