About The Position

Performs operation to apply stain and/or finish to exposed wood frame parts, exposed frame sub-assemblies, and/or materials. Work on a variety of parts as assigned performing handling, preparation, inspection and/or spraying operations for correct shades using master finished samples to ensure completion of work is to quantity and quality standards.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• No experience necessary, one year of finishing experience preferred.
• Must have knowledge of spraying processes after training, Requires basic understanding in order to use spray gun, other tools, and/or operate machinery (usually less than 90 days of training required)
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Must be able to maintain production on a conveyor belt.
• Ability to distinguish colors.
• Ability to perform other duties as needed.
• Must be able to bend and stoop throughout the day.
• Must be able to work closely with team members.
• Must be able to complete job duties in timely manner.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Ability to work and make decisions with minimum supervision.

Nice To Haves

• one year of finishing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use moving motorized conveyor to bring the next frame or frame sub-assembly to the sprayer.
• Read the label to identify the 3 digit finish number and grab the corresponding HVLP spray gun.
• Apply the finish to the frame by triggering the spray gun and using a sweeping motion across the frame.
• Rotate the frame and/or the frame pallet to apply spray to all sides of the frame.
• May perform other duties/ special or non-routine assignments as instructed.
