About The Position

Beyond TalentEdge has a direct hire opportunity for an experienced Cleanroom Technician. Our client is a leader in the manufacturing of precision optics specialized for the Aerospace and Defense markets. As a Cleanroom Technician you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of controlled cleanroom environments in compliance with strict contamination control standards (ISO).

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • 1+ year of janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Knowledge of contamination control (training provided if needed).
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
  • Ability to work standing for extended periods and lift up to 25–50 lbs as needed.
  • Work is performed primarily in a controlled cleanroom environment requiring full cleanroom gowning (coveralls, gloves, face mask, etc.).
  • Must adhere to strict cleanliness and hygiene requirements at all times. including refraining from smoking or vaping 30 minutes prior to entering the cleanroom.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
  • The job may involve prolong periods of sitting/standing.
  • May require area specific safety training
  • Minimum 40 hrs/week (Monday – Friday)
  • C/A Split-Shift (3AM – 11:30AM) or A/B Split-Shift (11:30AM – 8PM)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in cleanroom, laboratory, or controlled environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning of cleanroom areas according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Clean floors, walls, ceilings, doors, windows, and equipment surfaces using approved cleanroom cleaning agents and techniques.
  • Follow proper gowning and entry/exit procedures for controlled environments.
  • Remove waste and dispose of it according to cleanroom and hazardous material protocols.
  • Replenish cleaning and gowning supplies in cleanroom gowning areas.
  • Assist with spill cleanup and contamination control as needed.
  • Complete all required cleaning logs and inspection checklists accurately and on time.
  • Follow ISO and internal contamination control standards at all times.
  • Report any facility or equipment issues to the Cleanroom Supervisor or Facilities team immediately.
  • Participate in regular training on cleanroom procedures, safety, and hygiene.
