Cleanroom Operator 1 (Weekend Day)
About The Position
Schedule Shift is Friday through Sunday, from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM (10hrs straight time/1.5hrs overtime + 10% shift differential) General Responsibilities: Promote a safe workplace and follow all established work policies. Perform daily production tasks as assigned by supervisor, brush trimming, bagging, etc. Perform quality control checks of brushes in process and as final inspection. Operate production machines i.e., gab sealer, washing machine, cutting equipment, mounting equipment, flow-through system, CRO, core welder, core cleaning system. Package and label products Assist Leads and team with the operation of Cleanroom equipment to produce PVA sponge product meeting product specifications. Follow established process operating and safety procedures. Package and label products. Other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to see at distance of 20 inches or less to inspect and adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.
- Ability to use tweezers to remove dirt particles from product.
- Ability to read and work from work instructions and drawings.
- Ability to follow written instructions.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Average computer skills.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Safety conscious mindset.
