About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-driven Upholstery Cleaning Technician to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across all RDG properties. This role is essential in preserving the luxury aesthetic and guest-ready condition of all soft furnishings. The ideal candidate is highly organized, knowledgeable in fabric care, and committed to delivering excellence with minimal disruption to operations. Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in upholstery, curtain, or carpet cleaning
  • Proficiency in commercial upholstery and textile cleaning equipment
  • Strong knowledge of fabric care standards and cleaning techniques
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between locations as needed
  • Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in hospitality or luxury environments preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain all upholstered furniture, area rugs, curtains, and fabric panels across multiple RDG properties
  • Operate and maintain upholstery cleaning equipment, including steamers, extractors, and dryers, safely and effectively
  • Inspect furnishings for stains, damage, or wear, and report repair needs to management
  • Execute scheduled and preventative cleaning programs with minimal disruption to operations
  • Ensure all cleaned items are properly dried and service-ready within required timeframes
  • Coordinate with Facilities and Maintenance teams to schedule services during appropriate hours
  • Maintain accurate cleaning logs, maintenance records, and site condition reports
  • Respond promptly and professionally to emergency cleaning requests
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols related to chemical handling and equipment use
  • Transport tools and equipment safely between RDG locations as needed
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work independently across multiple sites
  • Ability to lift and move furniture, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks as required
  • Maintain reliable attendance, punctuality, and a performance-driven mindset
