Join our health care revolution and be a part of something better. QuadMed is looking for a Full time Dental Cleaning Technician to join our dental team in West Allis, WI. This position will work Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm. GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB The Cleaning Technician - Dental is part of the team dedicated to providing comprehensive, accessible care and innovative practices focusing on wellness and prevention. Th role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe environment for patients following prescribed procedures in a professional, courteous manner; actively and consistently contributes to department operations and communications; behaves in a manner consistent with the mission and objectives of the organization; works with staff members within and outside of the department in a professional manner. The Cleaning Technician must be cognizant of the expectations and concerns of QuadMed's dental patients and be able to respond in an empathetic and professional manner. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Dental and/or healthcare industry experience preferred.
  • Current CPR (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 60 days of hire
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to be a team player, detail oriented, accurate, and efficient
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced-environment and work well under pressure
  • Ability to be patient, possess compassion and uphold HIPAA standards
  • Proven ability to work effectively with diverse populations and a demonstrated commitment to fostering inclusion.

Responsibilities

  • Tears down treatment areas, exam rooms and surgery areas
  • Sets up treatment, exam and surgery areas after disinfection is completed
  • Mops in between patients if necessary
  • Performs laundry duties for lab coats and towels
  • Maintains compliance with OSHA and department policies and procedures relative to infection control, exposure control, and safety issues
  • Cleans, sterilizes, and prepares equipment and working areas in strict accordance with sterilization/ disinfection protocols
  • Maintains weekly/monthly sterilization of equipment
  • Performs other position related duties as assigned
  • Maintains confidentiality of the patient PHI and adheres to all HIPAA regulations
