About The Position

1-800 WATER DAMAGE of NE TX & NW LA is a trusted leader in the property restoration industry. As demand for our fire and smoke restoration services grows, we’re looking to expand our team with dedicated, detail-oriented Cleaning Technicians who are ready to make a difference in the lives of our customers. Our Cleaning Technicians play a crucial role in restoring homes and businesses after fire, smoke, and other disasters. This is a hands-on position that requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results with compassion and professionalism. This can be an entry level position with competitive pay based on experience.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and move items up to 75 lbs
Comfortable working in environments affected by fire, soot, and smoke
Positive attitude, punctuality, and willingness to learn
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction is a plus, but not required
IICRC certification preferred, but we will train the right candidate

Responsibilities

Clean and deodorize structures and contents affected by fire, smoke, and other damage
Handle contents pack-out and inventory with care and precision
Use specialized cleaning agents and equipment according to training and safety protocols
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Interact professionally and compassionately with customers during challenging times
Follow detailed instructions and work as part of a team to meet deadlines
