About The Position

The Commercial Kitchen Cleaning Team Member is crucial to maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our commercial kitchen production facility and ensuring it is ready for the upcoming shift's operations.

Requirements

  • Previous janitorial, custodial, or sanitation experience (food manufacturing preferred, but not required).
  • Maintain facility cleanliness and adhere to packaging standards.
  • Punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential for this role.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry items, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Willingness to work as part of a team and take direction from supervisors and kitchen staff.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is preferred but not mandatory. Training can be provided.
  • Ability to adapt to changing tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced cleaning, fulfillment environment.

Responsibilities

  • Complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks in assigned areas (production, warehouse, restrooms, breakrooms, offices, etc.).
  • Sweep, mop, sanitize, and power-wash surfaces as needed.
  • Take out trash, clean dishes and wash windows.
  • Follow established cleaning checklists and document task completion.
  • Report maintenance or sanitation issues immediately to the Cleaning Supervisor.
  • Support deep-clean projects, including coolers, freezers, and kitchen areas.
  • Restock consumables like paper towels, soap, and sanitizer.
  • Uphold cleanliness and safety standards aligned with SQF and OSHA.
