About The Position

Cleaning Specialist Our Cleaning Specialists take pride in ensuring our office and manufacturing spaces are looking their best. This is a full-time, second-shift position working as a member of the Penn United Maintenance Team to perform a range of daily, routing tasks to maintain the cleanliness of the buildings and ensure office and manufacturing spaces are a comfortable environment and looking their best. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Excellent time management skills and capable of meeting project deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning instructions
  • Able to work independently and cooperatively with teams
  • Physically able to bend, lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to be on feet and walk for extent of the shift
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels
  • Must be able to work second shift (Monday – Thursday 3:00 pm – 12:30 am and Friday 2:30 pm – 6:30 pm)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in facility cleaning operations, procedures and equipment
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily and routine cleaning of buildings
  • Dust, vacuum, mop and sanitize all surfaces and fixtures
  • Restock supplies and notify Team Leader of any needed supplies or repairs
  • Empty trash and garbage containers
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Assist with maintaining building security and answer doors and telephones after hours
  • Maintain confidentiality of corporation documents and information
