About The Position

We are looking for a responsible janitor to keep our Orangetheory Fitness studios in a clean and orderly condition. The ideal candidate will have experience in a janitorial role focused on maintaining a clean space for employees and members at a level that matches the quality of our workouts. Our janitorial staff is a critical piece of the Orangetheory Fitness brand. As a leader in the realm of high-intensity interval training (HIIT), Orangetheory Fitness delivers proven fitness results for a healthier world. Our space must provide the opportunity for members to achieve those results in an environment that is clean, disinfected, and safe.

Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time, climb tall ladders, and reach above head for extended periods to reach ceilings
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
Integrity and ability to work independently
High school degree

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, disinfect (i.e.: dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping) studio glass and mirrors, front desk, lobby, bathrooms/showers, office, and gym
Performing and documenting routine inspection
If observed, notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
Track cleaning supplies and tools, report needs to management
Cooperate with the rest of the staff
Follow all health and safety regulations
