The Cleaning/Maintenance Services Supervisor is a working supervisor responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of the cleaning staff within the venue. Duties may also include management functions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail, quality and accuracy.
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs.+ and occasional sitting.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and supervise cleaning staff and other employees performing similar services as directed.
  • Provide customer services by greeting and assisting customers and responding to customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Lead and train staff to ensure that all staff members are well-informed on event specific details.
  • Assist with managing breaks.
  • Ensure compliance with all venue policies and procedures including safety regulations.
  • Participate in the venue's sustainability program, implementing programs that conserve resources and prevent waste.
  • Partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue, including collecting recyclables and storing event equipment.
  • Oversee productivity and work assignments of the cleaning staff and communicate with management any challenges and status of all assignments.
  • Assign and schedule team members to specific duties.
  • Enforce safety, health, and security duties.
