We are currently seeking a Commercial Cleaner (Floater) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of multiple commercial and medical buildings across our service area. This position requires independence, reliability, and the ability to travel to different locations on a daily basis. Shifts will typically start at our Burton office at 5:45pm. As a floater, you may be assigned to different buildings on different days, so flexibility is essential . Weekend work may be required occasionally with advance notice. A valid driver’s license, active insurance, and reliable transportatio n are required. While some employees may be eligible for a company car based on location needs, a company vehicle is not guaranteed. Drive time between buildings is paid. Locations outside of Genesee County will be prioritized for a company car , depending on availability and operational needs Work Expectations (Completion-Based Scheduling) This position follows a completion-based schedule rather than a traditional shift schedule. While work typically occurs during late-evening hours, the workday is considered complete when all assigned buildings and tasks have been fully completed , not at a set end time. Over time may be available or needed at times. As a result, there may be times when you are required to stay later, arrive earlier, or work occasional weekends with advance notice, based on operational needs. Training & Pay Training (with a supervisor): $14/hour After successfully completing training and working independently: $15/hour Training typically lasts 3–4 weeks , depending on employee progression.
