The Cleaning & Janitorial Assistant Manager assists with the supervision and total operation of the cleaning and janitorial business across multiple counties and dispatch sites. This role ensures the seamless integration of personal outcomes for our team members with the business objectives of our customers.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of directly related experience.
  • Familiarity with external platforms (HCSIS), ODP Waiver funding, and ISP implementation (frequency and duration).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to implement productivity measurements and program goals.
  • Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and a properly insured motor vehicle available for daily use.
  • Must be able to pass required background checks, including Act 33, Act 34, and FBI clearances.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Experience with the Dept. of Labor, Ability One, and OSHA is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily workflows, inventory, and staff schedules to ensure customer satisfaction and the achievement of team goals.
  • Provide leadership and training to team members; supervise crews directly when necessary, including accounts in Westmoreland County.
  • Conduct inspections twice monthly at each account to monitor data and progress toward goals.
  • Implement Individual Support Plans (ISPs) by providing hands-on supervision and training support to assigned team members.
  • Conduct new employee orientations, including safety protocols, equipment training, and site-specific rules; assist with interviews and new referrals.
  • Track and maintain equipment for all accounts and ensure accurate inventory counts and transfers.
  • Remain available to cover emergencies, staff call-offs, or weather-related events; this includes driving teams to and from contract locations.
  • Assist the Manager and assume responsibility for operations in their absence.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
