Job Title: Cleaning Coordinator - 3rd Shift Reporting To: Supervisor, Industrial Janitorial Work Schedule: Onsite – Buffalo, NY Moog is the world-wide leader of advanced flight controls and actuation for commercial and military aircraft. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • At least 3 years of professional cleaning experience with demonstrated leadership/supervision experience

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the day-to-day work activities of the Moog Industrial Janitorial Team.
  • Provide coaching and training to new and current cleaning staff on Moog procedures and proper use of cleaning supplies/equipment.
  • Ensure that all company training is completed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure Team Members are compliant with PPE & FOD requirements.
  • Collaborate with Section Supervisor to ensure cleaning staff vacations and time off are scheduled appropriately so as not to create gaps in the team’s responsibilities.
  • Monitors performance and behavior of the Cleaners and escalate issues to the Section Supervisor.
  • May assist the Section Supervisor in performance discussions.
  • Communicate supply and equipment needs to the Section Supervisor.
  • Maintains storage of cleaning supplies/equipment.
  • Communicates cleaning plan and schedule across multiple levels and disciplines
  • Performs cleaning as necessary based on staffing levels.
  • Foster an inclusive environment by adapting coaching and communication styles to the unique needs of each team member, ensuring varied perspectives are leveraged to produce results.
  • Manage last minute changes to plans, manpower, and equipment.
