About The Position

Maintains the general cleanliness of office buildings and restrooms.

Requirements

• Ability to use or operate various cleaning equipment.
• Available to work evening hours.
• Must be willing to work cohesively as a part of a team.
• Must successfully obtain Criminal History Clearance from the PA State Police, Child Abuse Clearance from the PA Department of Human Services, and FBI Fingerprint Clearances.
• Must not be excluded from participation in Medicare, Medicaid or any other federal health care program.
• Ability to observe and identify potential problems and notify supervisor.
• Ability to ascend/descend a step ladder when necessary to complete the job.
• Ability to assist, move and/or transfer equipment or various materials when needed weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, stoop, crawl, and work in awkward positions and places when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleaning Comprehensive Community Services property as per cleaning schedule.
• Setup, stock, and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Cleans restrooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, sweep and mop floors, clean toilets and urinals.
• Vacuums, empties trash and replaces garbage can liners, as needed.
• Integrated in a proactive manner reporting maintenance and safety issues to Cleaning Coordinator.
• Follow all health and safety regulations associated with the position.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
• Adheres to all policies, laws, regulations and codes of ethics and confidentiality as outlined by federal and state laws, and agency policies and procedures.
