A valid State ID or California Driver’s License is required.

Requirements

• Ability to successfully pass the LA County Sheriffs background check process
• Must be able to read, write and communicate basic (40%) English skills
• A valid State ID or California Driver’s License is required

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years custodial cleaning experience or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitation duties in inmate housing units, restrooms, and common areas
• Clean and disinfect inmate cells, restrooms, showers, and other high-touch surfaces to maintain hygiene and prevent the spread of illness
• Handle and properly dispose of waste materials, including biohazardous or bodily fluids, following approved procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; promptly clean spills in offices and public areas.
• Maintain janitor’s closet clean, neat, and in orderly condition.
• Other jobs and duties as identified or assigned as needed.
