We are hiring for janitorial positions providing services within a secure Los Angeles County correctional facility located in Downtown Los Angeles . Available schedules: Tuesday – Saturday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM Sunday – Thursday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM Pay rate: $23.50 per hour Due to the secure nature of the correctional facility, meeting the requirements below is a condition of employment. Candidates must be able to: Pass a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department background investigation Work the full assigned shift without access to a personal cell phone Provide a valid, unexpired California State ID or Driver’s License Speak and understand English We are hosting an in-person hiring event for these positions. Requirements

• Pass a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department background investigation
• Work the full assigned shift without access to a personal cell phone
• Provide a valid, unexpired California State ID or Driver’s License

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years custodial cleaning experience or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitation duties in inmate housing units, restrooms, and common areas
• Clean and disinfect inmate cells, restrooms, showers, and other high-touch surfaces to maintain hygiene and prevent the spread of illness
• Handle and properly dispose of waste materials, including biohazardous or bodily fluids, following approved procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; promptly clean spills in offices and public areas.
• Maintain janitor’s closet clean, neat, and in orderly condition.
• Other jobs and duties as identified or assigned as needed.
