Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED.
- 1+ years of custodial or janitorial experience (apartment or facility cleaning a plus).
- Knowledge of cleaning products, safety procedures, and environmental hazards.
- Good communication and customer-service skills to interact with residents, visitors, and team members.
- Time-management skills and the ability to shift tasks as priorities change.
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance for scheduled shifts.
Nice To Haves
- OSHA or hazardous materials training a plus, we’ll help you build your skills with ongoing safety training.
Responsibilities
- Keep common areas spotless — sweep, mop, vacuum, polish, and disinfect throughout hallways, laundry rooms, restrooms, and community spaces.
- Maintain curb appeal — help with groundskeeping, trash removal, and light outdoor tasks as assigned.
- Support the team — assist maintenance staff with apartment clean-outs, light painting, bulb changes, and basic upkeep.
- Prioritize safety — follow proper storage and handling of cleaning materials and report any maintenance or environmental issues immediately.
- Show care — ensure residents and guests always experience a clean, welcoming environment.
