About The Position

The company is seeking a Janitor/Custodian to join their team in a full-time, regular schedule position (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM) at a residential foster care facility. This role is essential for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and consistency for foster youth within the community.

Requirements

• Ability to successfully complete Live Scan and obtain badge to work at the site
• Ability to work in various types of weather both inside and outside
• Proficient verbal/written communication skills
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to drive a golf cart

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years custodial cleaning experience or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Work in a temporary short-term care facility that provides services for foster children.
• Provide janitorial services (cleaning restrooms, taking out the trash, etc.) to classrooms, a gym and cottages.
• Clean and disinfect common areas, offices, restrooms, and living spaces
• Keep janitor’s closet clean, neat, and in orderly condition.
• Other jobs and duties as identified or assigned as needed.
