The Role Part-Time Saturdays & Sundays: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Pay: $19.44/hr. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment at a youth probation camp. This position plays an important role in supporting the health, safety, and daily operations of the facility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 1+ years custodial cleaning experience or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Empty, clean, and damp wipe all waste receptacles as well as remove wastepaper and rubbish from the premises to designated areas.
• Vacuum all rugs and carpeted areas, sweep or dust-mop hard floor surfaces, and damp-mop or clean spills as needed in offices, lobbies, corridors, stairwells, and public areas.
• Hand dust and wipe clean all office furniture, file cabinets, fixtures, paneling, windowsills, air-conditioning diffusers, wall grilles, and all other horizontal surfaces.
• Remove all finger marks and smudges from vertical surfaces, including doors, doorframes, light switches, private entrance glass, and partitions.
• Keep janitor’s closet clean, neat, and in orderly condition.
• Other jobs and duties as identified or assigned as needed.
