About The Position

The Janitorial Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within assigned facilities. This role includes routine cleaning tasks, minor maintenance, and ensuring all areas meet cleanliness and safety standards. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• General Cleaning: Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect floors, surfaces, fixtures, and furniture.
• Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize restrooms, restock supplies, and ensure proper hygiene standards.
• Trash Removal: Empty trash and recycling bins, replace liners, and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
• Surface Disinfection: Wipe and sanitize high‑touch surfaces such as door handles, switch plates, and handrails.
• Window & Glass Cleaning: Clean interior windows, mirrors, and glass doors as assigned.
• Supply Management: Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and report shortages.
• Minor Maintenance: Report maintenance issues (lighting, plumbing, equipment malfunction) to supervisors.
• Safety Compliance: Follow company safety protocols, including the proper handling of chemicals and equipment.
• Special Cleaning Projects: Assist with deep cleaning, event cleanup, or seasonal tasks as needed.
