About The Position

This position cleans and maintains all public areas in a manner which reflects the high standard of excellence of the Harrah’s Resort Southern California.

Requirements

Prior Custodial or Housekeeping experience preferred.
Must be a least 21 years of age.
Must present a well-groomed appearance.
Must be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to lift 50lbs or more.
Must be able to manage several tasks during shift.
Must be able to tolerate secondary smoke.
Must be able to work in temperatures more than 115 degrees and in cold temperatures as low as 40 degrees.
Must be able to work around crowded inside and outside areas.
Able to stoop, bend, reach and pull around casino & restroom areas.
Able to tolerate cleaning chemicals without developing an allergic reaction.

Nice To Haves

Prior Custodial or Housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain assigned areas.
Able to provide information and directions to inquiring guests.
Complete all tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Clean and sweep paper and debris off the floor.
Clean and maintain slot machines and stands.
Clean walls, stalls, shelving, telephones, brass rails, doors, glass, mirrors, and any surface needing cleaning attention
Clean and maintain cleanliness of restrooms.
Clean and refresh ashtrays and ash urns
Restock with supplies (paper products) and chemicals work area (as needed)
Performs proper and trained cleaning procedures when blood borne pathogens are involved.
Vacuum, remove trash, and remove or transport items from one area to another as assigned.
Mopping floors
Must be able to operate vacuum cleaners or floor cleaning equipment (mop, broom etc.)
Meets the attendance guidelines and adheres to departmental and company policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
