About The Position

We have multiple positions available for Airfield Seat Cleaning/Replacement Agents . REQUIRED: WORK EXPERIENCE: At least one full year of commercial or residential cleaning, janitorial, sanitation or aircraft/boat/vehicle detailing experience is required. PLEASE NOTE: CANDIDATES WHO DO NOT MEET THE ABOVE REQUIREMENT WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION. LOCATION: Chantilly, VA POSITION STATUS: This position is PART-TIME , hourly Work hours will be OVERNIGHT shift 9:00 PM - 4:00 AM , including weekends and holidays PAY RATE: $18.00/hr. JOB OVERVIEW: Manually remove and replace fabric aircraft seat covers and deep clean leather aircraft seat covers. Both leather and fabric seat covers must be stretched, pulled, and tugged repeatedly and forcibly to ensure a secure fit. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Seat covers are tightly fitted and attached with heavy-duty velcro and will require significant exertion to be used when removing and replacing. Inspect, identify, scrub, brush, and wipe leather seat cover with a towel damped with a diluted solution of chemicals (based on airline specs) and water, to perform ink wipes and deep cleans on leather seats. Inspect and evaluate the quality of work completed. Clean up the workspace following each service. Practice safe work methods and perform other related duties as requested. Follow all company policies and procedures. Be physically present at work on all scheduled days/times to meet workload productivity standards.

Requirements

WORK EXPERIENCE: At least one full year of commercial or residential cleaning, janitorial, sanitation or aircraft/boat/vehicle detailing experience is required.
Language skills: Proficient English required.
Able to take direction from supervisory staff.
Able to follow airline-specific guidelines with tasks pertaining to the seat care management process.
Safety conscious work approach is required.
Must be physically capable to execute the duties of this labor-intensive position.
Must be able to perform repetitive upper body movement while pulling 50 lbs. constantly and over 50 lbs. occasionally.
Other constant movements: Bending, Handling/fingering, Reaching, Repetitive movement, Squatting/kneeling, Standing, Walking, Overhead pushing/pulling, and lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
Airport security badge - must be able to attain an airport security badge during the hiring process and maintain an active badge for the duration of employment, without lapse at any time.

Nice To Haves

A valid driver's license for at least 1 full year, preferably 5 full years, with a clean driving.
