Clean Water Financing Project Officer: The purpose of this position is to provide cost effective funding solutions and technical assistance to localities, organizations, and citizens to protect and enhance water quality in the Commonwealth. Serves as State Fund Compliance Officer: The State Technical Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all state-level requirements related to grant and loan administration under CWFAP-managed programs are completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with Virginia law and DEQ guidance. This role provides technical oversight for The Virginia Clean Water Revolving Loan Fund (VCWRLF), and the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), as well as other state grant programs as necessary (ex. emergency funds for disaster response). The specialist supports reporting, data management, stakeholder communications, survey administration and program application cycles, while also assisting in the development of program guidance, polices and training resources for staff and external partners. Please note this position follows a hybrid work schedule to include both in-office and telework. Candidates must be able to work from the assigned work location in Virginia.
