About The Position

Trust Consulting Services is looking to hire a part-time Porter to support George M. Taylor District Courthouse located in Baltimore, Maryland. The Clean Team is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, public areas, etc.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Must have 6 months of experience cleaning, stripping, and waxing floors
Must be able to pass a background check (including education verification and employment verification) and drug screening
Must have reliable transportation
Must be able to hold a high level of personal integrity and remain focused on the job at hand
Employees should have a keen understanding of cleaning standards but will also be trained
Ability to work well under minimal supervision
Able to follow instructions
Strong attention to detail
Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30lbs, bend, kneel, and twist to perform the necessary cleaning duties as necessary

Responsibilities

Cleaning and disinfecting water fountains
Stripping, waxing, and buffing floors on multiple levels
Managing time effectively to complete tasks daily
Sweeping and mopping floors
Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and floor mats
Restocking, cleaning, and sanitizing restrooms
Cleaning windows, glass and mirrors
Cleaning light fixtures
Removing trash, and replacing liners
Dusting all horizontal and vertical surfaces, including the blinds
Emptying cigarette urns
Spot cleaning surfaces, courtroom furniture, and carpet stains
