About The Position

Under the direction of the Lab Manager, the Clean Room Technician works within the Islet Lab and is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sterility and compliance in the lab environment ensuring Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) Essential Job Statements Performs cleaning operations under strict cGMP guidelines. Micro-clean all surfaces within the controlled environment, including walls, floors, and equipment. Follows standard operating procedures (SOPs) precisely. Maintains cleaning documentation as regulated by lab SOPs. Identify deviations and inconsistencies in cleaning protocols and report to Lab Manager or other designated lab staff. Participates in continuous training, including cGMP training, technical skills, safety, and performance improvement. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safety requirements, including mandated PPE practice Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies and reports shortage or expiration of reagents proactively. Requirements

  • Education Required: High school diploma
  • Years and Type of Required Experience: Previous experience in clean room environments or laboratory settings is a plus.
  • Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Education Preferred: GED preferred
  • Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: Familiarity with cleaning chemical components and safety requirements.
