About The Position

The Clean Room Technician Lead at Paragon Implants MFG LLC is responsible for leading, training, and coaching a team of Clean Room Technicians in a manufacturing environment. This role involves overseeing packaging, assembly, and labeling processes while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The position requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement of processes within the clean room setting.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or a combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum one year working in a manufacturing, packaging, assembly, distribution center, or Clean Room environment in a supervisor or lead role, or a combination of minimum of five years' direct related job experience and education.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow general procedures, work instructions and the ability to document accurately.
  • Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
  • Communicate effectively to internal and external customers, and employees and management.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written and/or oral instructions.
  • Basic computer skills and data entry.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus and accuracy in a controlled environment.
  • Adhere strictly to Clean Room protocols, including gowning requirements and cleanliness standards, to prevent contamination of labeled items.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a clean room environment and/or additional certification or training in Clean Room procedures.
  • Working knowledge of ISO17025.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and coach a team of Clean Room Technicians.
  • Monitor work to meet product specifications and production targets.
  • Resolve production problems and respond to questions about processes, methods, or equipment.
  • Train and coach employees on packaging, assembly, and labeling processes and procedures.
  • Conduct training for new processes or equipment and onboard new employees.
  • Ensure SOPs are followed by the Clean Room team.
  • Ensure team meets production targets and quality standards.
  • Assist in interview process and employee performance feedback.
  • Observe and ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, sanitation requirements, and cGMP / GDP guidelines.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation, and continuous improvement, of processes and procedures.
  • Label product or components correctly and in accordance with specifications, blueprints, standards, and company policies/procedures.
  • Responsible for the setup and operation of labeling machines that label products according to SOP.
  • Review work orders and labeling specifications.
  • Identify materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions and set up issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of labeling activities, including batch numbers, labeling materials used, and any deviations from standard procedures, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspection/visuals to verify accuracy and legibility of labels, identifying and rectifying any discrepancies promptly.
  • Package and/or assemble product or components in accordance with specifications, blueprints, standards, and company policies/procedures.
  • Responsible for the setup and operation of packaging machines that fill and secure products according to SOP.
  • Review work orders and packing specifications.
  • Identify materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions and set up issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, including batch numbers, materials used, and any deviations from standard procedures, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspection/visuals to verify accuracy, identifying and rectifying any discrepancies promptly.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
