Requirements

  • Education: Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of one (1) year experience as an operator, technician, or similar role in a clean room environment.
  • Cleanroom Protocols and Procedures: Proficiently following gowning/de-gowning procedures, material transfer protocols, and contamination control practices.
  • Independence: Capable of working independently under standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Safety & Quality Focus: A strong commitment to adhering to and promoting maximum safety standards, quality policies, procedures, work instructions, ISO9000 standards, and ITAR regulations. Must be able to recognize machine malfunctions and get assistance.
  • Physical Requirements: Capable of frequent lifting, bending, stooping, standing, band reaching. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Must be able to keep up pace with machines. Must wear appropriate clean room attire/PPE.
  • Due to ITAR and / or CUI compliance, this position requires candidates to be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident Alien, or Protected Individual per 8 U.S.C.1324b(a)(3).
  • Candidates being considered for hire must pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

  • This role requires a high level of attention to detail in the daily management and handling of materials, labelling, and inspections.
  • Clean, prepare, and assemble product and ensure quality of final product.
  • Report defective material or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
  • Inspect and track parts and processes during production. Maintain accurate and timely testing, record test results related to quality, work in progress and special requirements.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition. Maintain clean room integrity by adherence to clean room environment practices and procedures.
  • Contribute and adhere to safety and quality.
  • Communicate status of operation in a timely manner to management including any safety and/or process problems.
  • Assist with training of other employees.
  • Maintain ITAR requirements as instructed.
  • Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
