About The Position

The Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for production and post-processing of medical devices. Common secondary processes include cutting, deburring, media blasting, polishing, filing, cleaning, and packaging. This role will be focused on implant cleaning operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to problem solve
• Ability to work in a regulated industry including adherence to good documentation practices and good quality practices
• Strong visualization and analytical skills

Nice To Haves

• Associates or post-secondary education preferred

Responsibilities

• Clean and passivate medical implants and instruments
• Assemble and package sterile and non-sterile goods
• Interpret engineering specifications and drawings
• Dimensional and visual inspection of manufactured goods as part of quality-controlled process
• Perform equipment maintenance
• Ensure high quality production in adherence with industry standards
• Follow all appropriate safety precautions, including usage of PPE and maintaining facility cleanliness

Benefits

• Pay range: $18 to $22 per hour + bonus
• Schedule: 6am to 2:30pm
