SUMMARY The clean / processor is responsible for manufacturing vinyl by using the right equipment. The individual must be able to fulfill cutting orders by using the proper machinery. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Comply with Westlake Safety Policies. Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility. Unload finished frames. Sash frames to be cleaned. Make sure to check out the frame prior to cleaning the frame. Inspect vinyl for any defects. Scribes around pattern or along straightedge, using cutting tool. Perform duties that require the use of specific machines. Perform other duties and responsibilities requested by the supervisor. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or the equivalent. Prior experience in a production/manufacturing environment preferred. Basic mathematical calculations. Must be able to read tape measure accurately. Ability to use hand tools. Ability to maintain attention to detail. Must be able to work independently and use good judgment. Read, write, speak English, Spanish is a plus. Must have the ability to multi-task. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Prolong standing for up to 12 hours performing shift work or in a stationary position. Bend or twist. Complete repetitive movements. Handle, control or feel objects, tools, or controls. Lift/move up to 50 pounds. Remove or replace items up to 50 pounds. Ascend or descend stairs. WORK ENVIRONMENT Be exposed to temperature extremes inside or out. Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable. Wear all the required personal protective equipment.
