As a Clean Line Technician , you will perform chemical and mechanical cleaning of parts and other metal products by hand, solvent bath or other processes to remove unwanted materials. What you’ll do: Learn and operate various cleaning methods, including hand cleaning with industrial solvents, chemical cleaning, grit blasting, and mechanical cleaning processes. Operate and maintain metal cleaning equipment such as vapor blasters, wheelabrators, deburrers, and blast cabinets. Perform incoming, in-process, and final cleaning, including drying methods (hot water, air, oven). Maintain cleaning tanks, monitor chemical concentrations, and perform titration checks. Prepare and mask surfaces for cleaning and non-destructive testing. Identify and segregate metal parts for appropriate cleaning processes. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, disposing of waste properly. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cross-train in complementary skills. Adhere to all safety protocols and report any hazards or discrepancies.
