We are searching for the best talent for Clean and Pack Operator . Purpose: Operates diverse types of machinery in an assigned cell, to produce various types of Medical Devices, including implants. Equipment used depends on product being manufactured or operation being performed and may vary from cell to cell. Under direction of the supervisor and/or cell lead, works to ensure production requirements are met, product quality is maintained, machine maintenance schedules are adhered to and safety rules are followed.

Requirements

  • High School

Responsibilities

  • Operates diverse types of equipment used to manufacture various types of Medical Devices established within the manufacturing processes and quality requirements.
  • Completes tasks using technology systems such as PLM, MES, Microsoft Office, ERP systems, etc.
  • Operator Asset Care on a regular basis such as, but not limited to, process machine maintenance.
  • Completes rework or reprocessing, as necessary, on products rejected by process in the specification.
  • Works with other production areas and cell leaders, as necessary, to resolve quality problems.
  • Works following appropriate safety practices and/or JSAs to prevent accidents to self or co-workers.
  • Know and follow all policies that apply to one's job, and maintain the highest levels of professionalism, ethics, and compliance always.
  • Ensures that in process quality checks are completed following established quality specifications.
  • Interface with quality and other production employees to resolve problems.
  • Works in accordance with all requirements for manufacturing medical devices (e.g. FDA QSR, ISO 9000, ISO 13485).
  • Completes required documentation as required by process, and inspection sheets, work instructions, and the document traceability.
  • Lift up to 25 pounds may be required on a regular basis.
  • Ability to learn and adhere to specific procedures according to the department training plan.
  • Knows and follows all laws and policies that apply to one's job, and maintains the highest levels of professionalism, ethics, and compliance at all times.
  • Partners with engineering team to ensure completion of expansion & validation activities in a timely manner, acting as subject matter expert where applicable or providing correct point of contact to operator subject matter expert.
  • Follow all applicable EHS&S policies and procedures which includes PPE, work practices, and control measures.
  • Promptly report EHS&S Incidents and Good Saves
  • Complete EHS&S training and CAPAs on-time.
  • Ensure department waste is segregated for proper disposal (recycle vs trash).
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
  • Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
  • For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed
  • Operations being performed depend on cell assignment and product being manufactured but may include and are not limited to cleaning and labeling.

  • Operations being performed depend on cell assignment and product being manufactured but may include and are not limited to order breakdown, visual inspection, documentation reconciliation, PO receipt, shipping, bag and tag, and shrink wrap operations.
  • Operates various machinery (Autoclave, Lyophilizer, Die Press, Stand Mixer, Vacuum Dry Oven, Pouch Sealer, Tray Sealer) as needed to execute a variety of manufacturing processes.
  • Utilizes technology systems such as PLM, MES, Microsoft Office, and ERP for task completion.
  • Execute operations and manufacturing processes based on cell assignment, including cutting, drilling, milling, bending, mixing, freezing, drying, assembly, labeling and packaging
  • Uses measuring instruments (gauges, micrometers, calipers, balance, timers, pH meters) and hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers) for quality checks and equipment maintenance as required.
  • Assembles plastic components to produce larger assemblies including, but not limited to, cannulas, syringes, and dispensers.
