About The Position

Classroom Technicians provide basic hardware/software support for the classroom technology and the video conferencing needs of the seminary. This is a 18-28 hours per week position.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, college degree prefered
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Successful completion of background check, MVR, and credit check may be required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Highly relational with a passion for customer service
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and accountable
  • Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • CompTIA A+ certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Interface with faculty, staff, and students on a daily basis to solve technical issues
  • Work individually and on a team environment to complete tickets and meet end user needs in a timely manner
  • Support end users by answering telephone calls, online ticket requests, and walk-ins
  • Provide training in classroom technology for faculty and students in both physical and virtual environments
  • Other support duties as assigned
  • Regular on the job attendance and timeliness
  • Perform other related duties as assigned and specific to area of responsibility
