We are seeking a dynamic educator to join our middle school team as part of a co-taught Humanities program. This position includes teaching history and social studies content to students in grades 5-8 through an inquiry-based, student-centered instructional approach. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in middle school social studies instruction, is well-versed in inquiry pedagogy, and is excited to collaborate with a partner teacher to design integrated Humanities learning experiences that inspire students to think critically, read deeply, write with purpose, and engage meaningfully in discussion. The successful candidate will join a collaborative and energized middle school team that works together to support students' academic growth and social-emotional well-being. Teachers at Sharon Center School celebrate students' strengths and interests, design instruction that engages all learners, and consistently use student learning data to inform and adjust instruction. The ideal candidate communicates effectively with students, families, and colleagues and fosters strong partnerships that support student success.
