About The Position

Eastpointe Community Schools is in the business of transforming lives. Part of our continued growth and improvement involves increasing educational expectations, developing a culture of support, and nurturing all students to address academic, behavioral, and interpersonal needs. Pleasantview Elementary School is a grade K-5 school with an enrollment of about 300 students. Crescentwood is a welcoming environment offering transitional and traditional kindergarten, instructional coaching, support, and feedback for staff. At Pleasantview, we feature Grade Level Collaborative Teams! We support our students with Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS), and offer them smiles every day! As an Elementary Teacher in our district, you will work side by side with the Principal, Grade Level Team, Coaches and other teacher leaders who will help move you and your program forward. You will master grade-level content, assessment, and technology supports. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or beyond, with a preference for early literacy or math
• State of Michigan Teaching Certification or in process
• Successful classroom teaching experience
• Successful record of School Leadership
