About The Position

Special Education -Pre-K Teacher at Vogel Wetmore Elementary School. Applicants must hold or be eligible for a valid State of Connecticut teaching certificate with appropriate endorsement for special education Pre-K. The Pre-K Special Education Teacher is responsible for designing and implementing individualized instruction that meets the developmental and learning needs of students with disabilities alongside their typically developing peers. They collaborate closely with related service providers, families, and general education staff to support IEP goals through inclusive, play-based learning experiences. The teacher also monitors student progress, ensures compliance with special education regulations, and fosters a nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment for all learners.
